Journalists for News Literacy will contact a local school on your behalf and facilitate an introduction to set up a visit. Just tell us where you work, a little bit about your experience, how much time you can commit and whether your prefer speaking to middle school or high school students. We'll connect you with a school to pick a date and complete any necessary paperwork.
WHY DO IT

Hyper-partisanship in the media has caused trust in the press to drop to record lows, a trend that fake news is now compounding. By engaging with young people in the classroom, you can help create the smarter news consumers of the future. Journalistic ethics stop you from engaging in political activism. Journalists for News Literacy offers a non-partisan outlet to get more involved with your community and evangelize the importance of journalism to democracy.
